Good article, way I see it, the current 'anti-christian' 'dr' guys are simply alt-woke rather than anti-woke. If they were in power they'd think the exact same thing that the wokesters do, power doesn't matter it is fleeting, it is the concern of those who are slaves (to base desires) the mind should be occupied with higher glories such as issues of philosophy, theology, history, literature and whatever else that requires brain-power to comprehend.

They are the liberals of yesteryear in which the revolution accelerated a bit too fast and too heavy. I agree about the higher things, however, I would recommend Christians to also seek power in order to arrange the world as God intended. It will never be perfect until the eschaton, but it can be better than it currently is.

I feel similarly to you in the sense that I've been Very Online for a very long time. If I came across this same situation when I was younger and dumber I probably would have participated in the pointless flaming and catfighting. But I've seen enough silly Internet drama that now I just find it amusing. It's never worth getting angry about.

It helps to be something of a "normie" yourself, in the sense of having real relationships and obligations outside of the Internet. If you have a job, a wife, and kids, those things will naturally keep petty Internet feuds in perspective for you. Young people who lack those sorts of real-world connections are more easily swept up into obsessing over Internet outrage bait, I feel.

Touch grass, as Gen Z says. I’ve never felt any better after an online argument and my kids have never cared (why should they). Good reminder to keep trucking on.
